Codever.io is a place where people with an entrepreneurial spirit want to spend their time. We already have an established client base and are now looking to expand our development team with a WordPress Developer who is passionate about clean code, performance, and practical solutions.

Business Development Manager (USA)

We’re looking for a proactive and people-savvy Business Development Manager in the US to lead the charge on identifying, engaging, and nurturing potential clients. In this highly visible role, you’ll be the first point of contact for inbound and outbound prospects—qualifying leads, conducting discovery calls, and laying the foundation for long-term client partnerships. This is not a transactional sales role. We’re looking for someone who thrives on building trust, understanding business needs, and aligning prospects with the right solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for all new client inquiries, from first touch to proposal

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand each prospect’s business goals, challenges, and timeline

  • Qualify leads and guide them through early stages of the buyer journey

  • Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to create tailored proposals and pitch decks

  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, calls, and follow-ups in the CRM

  • Monitor and manage a healthy pipeline of active and potential opportunities

  • Represent the brand at industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities (virtual and in-person)

  • Provide regular feedback from the field to help shape service offerings and marketing strategy

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles (B2B preferred)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you’re great at asking questions and building rapport

  • Confidence to lead conversations with senior decision-makers

  • Ability to manage multiple prospects and timelines with professionalism

  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to track activity and manage pipeline

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, consultative environment

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in SaaS, digital services, or regulated industries such as finance

  • Familiarity with solution-based selling or account-based marketing (ABM)

  • A natural curiosity and passion for solving problems

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary + performance-based bonuses

  • Remote work with flexible hours

  • A collaborative, growth-oriented team culture
